Family Worker Training Project
Family support involves a process of supporting and nurturing children, families and communities. Family support aims to strengthen families by increasing parental confidence and competence in their parenting role. The Family Support model works to empower families and takes strength based approach.
The aim of this project is to enhance and develop the skills and knowledge of workers working with families with dependant children 0- teenage.
Through research and consultation with workers in the sector, we develop and deliver a variety of training sessions. All events also provide workers with the opportunity to meet and share experiences and establish contacts with other workers in the sector.
This project also covers youth work and child protection.
